Fortunately the morphology of Cornish has proved far less controversial than its orthography, and consequently less has been written about it. Some years ago, I investigated the suffixes -ter/der, -(y)ans and -neth . More recently, the Cornish Language Board has made extensive use of the suffix -(y)el to create new adjectives; this has been criticized in certain quarters.
